a magical place

I walk through the doors and we smile at one another
We do not know each other
But this place brings us together
I seek out new worlds to discover
And you open me up to things I never knew of
Taking time out of your busy day
You show me kindness
Our interaction is always brief
But each time I walk out the door
I am smiling
These brief encounters
Expand my world
And remind me of the goodness it holds

Beautiful words! How often we forget in our day to day lives with computers, emails, kindles etc the magic and wonder of a library. They are important to us and we need to highly regard what they have to offer. Thank you for the reminder sweet Jennifer. We are to always treasure the written word and the magic of holding pages between our hands!

Love this :) I feel similarly about the library. The kids and I are heading to ours today and when I get there I know I'll feel that moment of peace that I always get when I walk into one. It's such a comforting place to be.

Happy Wednesday, friend!

Oh, How I love books! :]
Such a wonderful place to gather and enjoy them, the library. A peaceful place to say, "Hello again, you are anything, but forgotten...you are just where I left you."
